We at Mexico Event Design are proud to announce a new decorative design concept to add to our collection! It’s called Mi Corazón (My Heart or My Love) and is based primarily on brilliant touches of color via the use of hand-blown red glass hearts. The hearts come in various sizes and are fabricated in Tonalá, a suburb of Guadalajara, Mexico’s second-largest city.
Conveying a bit of that Latin passion, these glass hearts can be used in various ways to decorate the tabletop. One idea is to place a heart at the top of the charger plate so that each guest can take it home as a wedding souvenir. Another idea places the small heart inside each person’s water glass in order to be visible both before and during the event, even when the glass is full! Yet another idea includes hanging hearts of different sizes either directly over each table or in the general area to help create a romantic atmosphere. The hearts look amazing reflected in the bright sunlight, and we have a special trick up our sleeves to illuminate them at night! Stay tuned here for photos and videos at night at our earliest opportunity!
Rounding out the concept, here we’re using tropical anthuria flowers in red, pink, or white, for their shape, color and gorgeous clean texture and waxy green leaves. Adding in white Phalaenopsis orchids will make your centerpieces pop even more! Here we’ve chosen platinum-banded plates, but white or gold-banded plates would look equally excellent. A simple white silk tablecloth keeps the eye’s attention on those bold pops of red! Wow!
We’re confident that this design concept will look amazing both in daylight and darkness. Imagine it with tons of lighted candles on the tables! Yep, those pictures are coming, we promise!
